The ring is in overall good condition with no signs of heavy damage, wear or repair. The alexandrite is in overall good condition. There is one very small nick to the crown facet edge, possibly caused by a surface-reaching inclusion. The stone has some natural inclusions throughout, with a good level of transparency. The stone has a dark bluish-green hue in natural daylight and a rich purplish red hue in incandescent light (candle light). Light scratches to the platinum throughout, commensurate with age and use.
