The brooch is in overall good condition. Converted from an emerald and diamond three stone ring. The head of the ring has been removed and soldered to an antique stock pin. The pearl is glued securely to the bar. Glue residue visible under pearl. The emerald is in good condition with no signs of chips or abrasions. The stone has a good saturation of colour and natural inclusions visible under close inspection. Secure in its setting. The diamonds are in good condition with no signs of chips or abrasions. Secure in their illusion settings. Estimated 0.06-0.10 carats total. The pearl has some patches of wear to the first layers of nacre and an incipient seam running horizontally across it. The pin clasp is in good condition with only light scratches, commensurate with age. Functions well. Some tarnish to the collet visible.
