The brooch is in overall good condition with no signs of heavy damage. The diamonds are all present and in good condition with no signs of chips or abrasions. Estimated I-K colour and Si-I clarity. All secure in their settings. The pearls are all present and in good condition with no signs of wear to the nacre. All match well in hue and lustre. Only slight variations. Some have more oblong shapes to them ie not perfectly round. All secure in their settings. Some residue visible to the bottom of the settings from the reverse. The pin clasp is in good condition and functions well. There is one spot of repair to the gold on the edge of the brooch. This has been carried out sympathetically and is not visible from the front.
