The ring is in overall good condition with no signs of damage or heavy wear. The ruby is opaque with some natural surface-reaching inclusions. Deep purplish pink appearance. Held securely in its setting. There is evidence to suggest the ring has been resized at some point. This has been carried out sympathetically. The gold has light scratches and dinks throughout, commensurate with age and use.
