The necklace is in overall good condition with no signs of damage, heavy wear or repair. The pearls are all in good condition with no signs of heavy abrasions or wear to the nacre. Some pearls have a slightly rippled texture, typical of freshwater pearls. Only visible upon close inspection. Some space for movement between a few of the pearls and their knots. All knots in good condition. The pearls match well in colour and lustre. Mostly cream coloured. Some with a slightly more grey hue. The clasp is in good condition and functions well. Light scratches throughout the clasp.
