The smaller of the pearl necklaces is in good condition with no signs of damage, heavy wear or repair. The pearls are all in good condition with no signs of wear to the nacre. Generally match well in hue and lustre, exhibiting a slightly pinkish hue. The knots have some browning, commensurate with age. The clasp is in good condition. All emerald present and secure in their settings. Clasp functions well. The longer of the two pearl necklaces has some signs of wear to the nacre in spots on a few of the lower pearls. Generally match well in colour and lustre. Some residue to the string and drill holes of most of the pearls. Some natural banding and pitting to some of the pearls Clasp is in overall fair condition. Opal has one spot exhibiting play of colour over a whitish base. Secure in its setting. All claws present. One emerald missing. Clasp functions well. Light scratches to the gold. Would advice both are restrung.
