in 9ct gold, c.1930s, set with a pear shaped opal cabochon held in a claw setting to a geometric stylised pendant set to the top with a round brilliant cut diamond held in a bezel setting, stamped '9C', 2.7cm; together with a natural opal of c.12.47 carats, 31.5x18.6x3.8mm, (gross weight - c.4.5g)

The pendant is in very good condition with no signs of damage, heavy wear or repair. The opal is in good condition with no signs of chips or abrasions. Good play of colour, exhibiting yellows, greens and blues over a translucent-transparent body. Secure in its setting. All claws present. The diamond is in good condition with no signs of chips or abrasions. Secure in its setting. Light scratches and tarnish to the gold commensurate with age. 


The loose opal is in good condition. Transparent-translucent body. Crazing visible. Flashes of blues, violets and some greens.
