and an antique garnet and pearl brooch in 9ct gold, set with an oval cut garnet in a cluster of pearls to a fanned design, secured with a pin clasp, obscured British hallmarks, c.2.4cm, (gross weight - c.25.3g)

The earrings and matching brooch are in fair condition. Some losses to the central flower motifs and one pearl missing to the border of one of the earrings. One amethyst has a chip and crack to the centre. Both butterfly fittings present. Light scratches to the gold throughout. The brooch is in fair condition with signs of losses to the enamelled details. Losses to the central flower motif. Some claws missing to the citrine. Abrasions to the pearls. Garnet brooch is in good condition with no signs of damage, heavy wear or repair. The garnet is in good condition with no signs of chips and only a couple of light abrasions. All pearls are present and in good condition. Only light scratches to the gold, commensurate with age. Pin clasp functions well.
