Bidding ended. Lot has been sold.

Note: Daniel gained the patronage of the 15th Earl of Shrewsbury, Charles Talbot (1753-1827) and his wife the Countess Elizabeth Hoey, who lived at Heythrop House. A large commission was completed for them in 1827 and comprised an extensive service. See the example on page 10 in 'Daniel Patterns on Porcelain Tablewares', for a plate with the same coronet and pattern. The Shrewsbury shape became very popular as it continued to be supported by the descendants of the Earl.

Cracks and possible repairs visible to the pedestal. Hairline cracks apparent to the body and around the internal rim. Some wear to decoration and gilding throughout.
