AN H & R DANIEL STANHOPE SHAPE PART TEA SERVICE

pattern D425, with broad pale lavender border and gilded banding, comprising teapot, 18cm high, slop bowl, jug, sugar box, eight teacups, seven coffee cups, and ten saucers (a lot)

Bidding ended. Lot has been sold.

One saucer is cracked. The jug seems largely OK. The sugar box is cracked and repaired. The slop bowl seems OK. The lid of the teapot is repaired. The spout of the teapot has a large chip. The coffee cups all seem OK. One teapot is cracked and the handle is broken, one has a repaired handle, another is cracked to the body with a restored handle, another has a hairline crack to the rim. There is rubbing to the decoration and gilding in part throuhgout.
