Note: A discussion on this pattern and Daniel’s history with Scotland is recorded in the Daniel Collector’s Circle newsletter, number 24, November 2009. Richard Daniel is recorded to have recognised the burgeoning market for fine porcelain among the Scottish Gentry and therefore produced a number of services decorated with the landscapes and manor houses of Scotland.

The serving dish is marked but OK. Both bowls are marked with hairline cracks visible. Three of the plates are cracked, the others are OK. Eight of the cups are cracked, some with old repairs, with some others being marked. Four of the saucers have cracks. There is wear to the decoration throughout the service and rubbing to the gilding.
