A GROUP OF SIX H & R DANIEL SECOND GADROON SHAPE CUPS AND SAUCERS

including a trio and a coffee cup and saucer in pattern 4105, decorated with gilt bands and pink leaves, three teacups in patterns 4610, 4608 and 4167, and a coffee cup in pattern 4168, the tallest coffee cup 8cm high

Provenance: The Beardmore Collection, nos. 187, 133, 1719, 244, 184 and 1601.
One bearing a label from the 1994 Winter Exhibition of the Australian Ceramic Circle.

Pattern 4168: the coffee cup is chipped to the foot, the saucer appears ok.

Pattern 4105: the teacup appears ok, one coffee cup has a hairline crack from rim  to foot, the other coffee cup has multiple hairline cracks, one saucer has multiple hairline cracks to the rim, the second saucer appears to be in good overall condition. 

Pattern 4167: the teacup has a small hairline crack to the body, the saucer appears to be in good overall condition.

Pattern 4608: Good overall condition.

Pattern 4610: teacup has hairline cracks to the rim, the saucer is ok.

There is some wear to the decoration and gilt throughout.
