A GROUP OF SEVEN H & R DANIEL SECOND GADROON SHAPE CUPS AND SAUCERS

including teacups in pattern 4488, pattern 4055 and pattern 4056, and coffee cups in pattern 5192, pattern 4404 and pattern 4091, variously decorated with borders in shades of red, apricot and pink, the tallest coffee cup 8cm high

Provenance: The Beardmore Collection, nos. 2021, 1586, 1804, 240, 422, 1546 and 216.
One bearing a 1994 Winter Exhibition label from the Australian Ceramic Circle.

Pattern 4091: the coffee cup appears ok, the saucer appears ok.

Pattern 4056: the teacup has a small chip to the rim, the saucer is ok.

Pattern 4044: appears to be in fine condition overall.

Pattern 4488: the teacup has a discoloured glaze spot, the saucer has a small chip to the rim.

Pattern 4055: the teacup has a hairline crack to the handle that has been repaired, the saucer has a large hairline crack.

Pattern 5192: the coffee cup has a chip to the rim, the saucer is ok.

Decorated with landscapes: appears to be in good overall condition.

There is some wear to the decoration and gilt throughout.
