A GROUP OF SIX H & R DANIEL SHREWSBURY PATTERN CREAM BOWLS

including bowls in pattern 4276, decorated with landscape panels, pattern 4216, pattern 4355, pattern 4679, pattern D167 and another bowl with green borders, possibly pattern 4478, the tallest 16.5cm high

Provenance: The Beardmore Collection, nos. 323, 1850, 1545, 2284 and 1933.

Pattern 4276: hairline cracks and glazing cracks to the bowl, possible restoration to the finial.

Pattern 4216: lacks lid, the bowl appears ok.

Pattern 4355: hairline cracks/glazing cracks to the body, hairline crack to the lid and the finial has been knocked off and restuck.

Pattern 4679: lacking lid, otherwise ok.

Pattern D167: the bowl has a small a hairline and a small firing crack, some areas of discolouration, the lid has a hairline crack.

The remaining: has numerous small hairline cracks to the bowl and to one handle, some chips and firing faults to the lid. 

There is some wear to the decoration and gilt throughout.
