A GROUP OF SIX H & R DANIEL SECOND BELL SHAPE CUPS AND SAUCERS

including teacups in pattern 6635, pattern 7151, pattern 7183, pattern 6210 and pattern 7157, and coffee cup in pattern 6434, all variously decorated with green and gilt borders, the coffee cup, 9cm high

Provenance: The Beardmore Collection, nos. 479, 2063, 2302, 2314, 1929 and 1755.
Two of the saucers bear old Witney Antiques labels to the base.
One bears an old Brian Smith Collection label to the underside.
One bears an old J & J Simpson Collection label.

Pattern 6635: the teacup appears ok, the saucer is cracked.

Pattern 7151: the teacup is cracked and restored to the handle., the saucer appears ok. 

Pattern 7183: hairline/glaze crack to the cup, the saucer similarly has hairline/glaze cracks.

Pattern 6434: the coffee cup has a cracked handle, the saucer has a chip to the rim.

Pattern 7157: the teacup has a cracked handle, the saucer has hairline/glaze cracks and a very small chip.

Pattern 6210: the cup has very small chips to the rim, very fine crack apparent below the handle, the saucer is cracked and restored. 

There is some wear to the decoration and gilt throughout.
