Areas of retouching visible on the face under the U.V. particularly around the arch of the eye at the top of the nose. The background may have been overpainted and there are two vertical cracks in the paint visible in the photograph.

The giltwood frame is generally good with some losses and opening joints (restuck) consistent with age.
