This painting has been consigned by a private Dorset vendor and is in original unrestored condition.
There is some crackelure throughout, especially to face, hands and the sitters right shoulder.
There are three areas of canvas damage - two small spots above the sitters head and a small area of paint loss to book. Please see additional photos.
The work is monogrammed F.G Paris 1854.
