The medal appears to have been displayed in its box (open) for an extended period. The suspension ribbon and blue velvet box insert are badly faded as a result.
The badge is tarnished - obverse more so than reverse. All the enamel is intact - no chips, but would benefit from professional cleaning. The devil appears to be missing two spots of enamel from his left wing.
