TWO CHINESE BLANC DE CHINE LION DOGS

19th century or later, both with incense stick holder and with one paw balanced on brocaded ball, the taller 17cm high; together with two dark cream glazed creatures, including a lion dog and a qilin, the taller 12cm high; and similar coloured baluster vase with raised decoration and stripes, 13cm (5)

The vase appears to be largely ok. Crazed throughout. Worn to the foot rim. Glaze thinning/roughness to the rim, with very small chips. Some firing faults evident.

The tallest stick holder dog is cracked and restored. The other is largely ok, some chips and wear to the foot, a small loss to the tail.

The cream-glazed dog has a broken incense holder and several small chips and cracks. The other cream-glazed figure has several losses and damages, including the incense holder, eye brow and mane cresting.
