in 18ct white gold, circa 1940s, set with a cushion-cut emerald of c.3.50 carats, held in a milgrained rub-over setting, in a stylised border of old-cut diamonds to diamond set shoulders, all totalling c.1.00 carats, no assay marks, UK size M1/2 / Eu size 53.25, (c.4.8g)

The ring is in good condition with no signs of damage, heavy wear or repair. The emerald has a small chip to the crown. The stone has medium saturation of a light green hue. The stone has a very good level of transparency with some natural inclusions visible under x10 loupe. The stone is secure in its setting. The setting is in good condition with no signs of wear. Some light tarnish to the edge of the setting. The diamonds are all present and in good condition with no signs of chips or abrasions. All secure in their settings. The gold has light scratches throughout and minimal signs of wear to the shank.
