A SHERATON STYLE SECRETAIRE

mid-20th century, a Greek key cornice above astragal glazed doors, a fall-front desk graduating drawers are terminated with shaped bracket feet, 200cm high x 87cm wide x 50cm deep

The bookcase secretaire is made of timber and not MDF or plywood.

There are minor chips and scratches throughout, including the cornice.

The top drawer has a repaired yet there is an evident split in the wood over most of its length to the front

There are glue marks to the interior of the doors where fabric was once attached to line the glass.

There are new screws to attach the top to the bottom section and some holes where they have been removed. In addition there is loose section of graduated beading which will need to be reattached.

The fall-front desk has been fused in place by wood chips and glue.

The handles on the interior of the secretaire area are loose and replacements. There are replacement handles throughout and some mismatched bolts.

There has been a repair to the bracket feet.
