mid to late 20th century, of muted hued cotton and silk threads centred on an octagonal shape containing four seagulls, surrounded by an elaborate design of interlaced flowers, tendrils and birds, 103 wide x 166cm high

The panel has some fading overall but the colours are deliberately muted. The peacock and birds for example are outlined in detail but are not bright coloured.

There is an ombre effect whereby the outer edge is olive in colour which then merges with the pale gold which is the major background colour.

The frame is rubbed particularly at the bottom and there are chips to the wood itself.
