The jug is in good condition commensurate with age.
There is fritting to the lip and rim of the jug. There is a chip to the spout and a signicant chip to the underside of the jug but is unnoticeable when placed flat.
There are scratches and wear to the lustre effect.
There is wear to the enamel lettering on the poem and to details of the ships particularly. This does not influence the pleasing quality and charm of the vessel.
There appears to be an old long scratch from production. This does not show inside the vessel so is not a crack and it is unusual in shape.
