The log or laundry basket is in good general condition and stable.
It is bleached overall and has wear throughout where it has rubbed from usuage.
The feet are secured by circular metal bosses which have rusted but have not damaged the weave.
One handle is slightly loose.
One long side in particular has losses to the top lip of the wicker but is still stable. The braided woven section has been snapped off.
There are small losses throughout to the weaving.
Dating is difficult as the weaving production method has not varied but it is likely to be late Victorian to early 20th.
