There are chips and knocks commensurate with age and use.
There is some shrinkage to the timber where you can see gaps in the drawer bases but this does not affect the aesthetics or stability.
The frame is solid and free of wood worm.
All drawers open and close smoothly.
The drawer handles are brass.
