A GEORGE III MAHOGANY LINEN PRESS

the upper section with a moulded cornice over oval panelled and crossbanded cupboard doors opening to an interior fitted with slides, the base with two short and two long drawers on shaped bracket feet, 197cm high x 127cm wide x 60cm deep

This lot is in good country house condition.

Overall there is light bleaching from sunlight and knocks and chips commensurate with age.

There are small nibbles to the cornice.

To the top half there is a noticeable repair to the veneer on one side at the top and to the other side a larger area where the wood veneer has come away and evidence of repair (the missing veneer is in one drawer)

The beading to the front door is loose and will require stablilising and the lock has been replaced. There is no lock

There are losses to the beading edges on two drawers.

The bottom drawer is stiff and there is no lock.
