Bidding ended. Lot has been sold.

This lot is in good country house condition with lovely patination.

There are chips, knocks, minor stains, and missing sections of veneer commensurate with age and use.

There is some shrinkage to the timbers and veneers evident on the drawers whereby they are not exactly square but slightly uneven in line only apparent after close scrutiny. This does not affect the aesthetics or stability of the chest.

The handles and locks may possibly be later
