AN ENGLISH PORCELAIN PART DESSERT SERVICE

the white ground decorated with floral sprays, with moulded borders highlighted in gilt, including one cream bowl and stand, 20cm high, three serving plates of various outlines, and nine dessert plates, 23.5cm diameter, together with a Derby porcelain sugar box and cover, 17cm wide, and a similar large serving bowl, 33.5cm wide (a lot)

Bidding ended. Lot has been sold.

One plate chipped with a crack to the rim. One with a hairline crack to the base. One with two cracks to the rim. One with multiple rim cracks. Five plates ok. Some wear and rubbing to gilding throughout.

The basket appears ok.

The tureen lid handle has been broken and restored, otherwise appears ok.

The cream bowl, lid and stand all appear ok.

All the shaped serving plates are similarly ok, with slight general wear consistent with age and use.
