Bidding ended. Lot has been sold.

This lot has significant damage to the exterior cover (tears, rips and moth damage) and the cover beneath that. (threadbare tapestry)

There are signs of damp to the replacement 'back boards' and these have been supported by new wood batons. There is no webbing but there is evidence of original horsehair

The seat pad on top is also not period and is one uniform shape which lifts out as a whole

The feet are all oak and match but are in a very unstable condition . There are no castors.
