early 18th century and later, the upper section with a broken swan-neck pediment over bevelled mirror panelled doors, opening to an interior fitted with small drawers and pigeonholes, the lower section with a herringbone crossbanded fall front opening to an interior inset with a blue baize writing surface and further small drawers and compartments, two short and two long graduated drawers beneath, on tall shaped bracket feet, 220cm high x 102cm wide x 58cm deep

There are a number of damages and restorations throughout. There is veneer loss, splitting and repair. some losses and splitting to the moulding. Evidence of old worm. Handles and escutcheons replaced. Some marks and scratches, notably around the feet. Re-backed.
