This lot is in good country house condition.
It has almost certainly been taken from a large piece of furniture. Clearly the hanging hook to the back is later.
The painting is clearly later.
There are small chips to the extremities (one bird claw is missing and one wing is chipped) and natural splits in the wood.
20th century - the back is 'flat' and not hollowed out as you would expect from an old piece.
