Bidding ended. Lot has been sold.

This dresser is esssentially antique but appears to have been slightly adapted.

There is surface wear and damage commensurate age to age and use.

There is evidence of old worm (a small panel to the top has become brittle and broken away), staining to the top of ghe second half, scratches throughout and knocks to the legs and shelves/extremities.

There is shrinkage of timbers evident especially on the inside of drawers.

The top half has some warping to the timber and dips in the centre, there is evidence of repair to one corner.

The cup hooks are later replacements.

The above does not detract from the stability of the piece nor the aesthetics as there is uniformity of rich colour.
