A BLACK LACQUER AND CHINOISERIE DECORATED CABINET ON STAND IN WILLIAM AND MARY STYLE

20th century, the cabinet decorated with figures and birds within a mountainous landscape, the two cupboard doors with engraved brackets and escutcheon opening to a fitted interior, with silvered carved and pierced surmount, the similarly silvered stand heavily carved with pierced foliate corner brackets and five tapered columnar legs with ionic capitals and trailing bell flowers, 176cm high x 106cm wide x 54cm deep

There is some wear/losses to the lacquering and splits down the doors and the side panels.

The doors do not close, the locks and metal hardware/strapping are later additions and do not fit squarely.

The pediment does not fit flush and is at an angle. It is later edition to match the stand beneath. The stand has chips to the corners and feet

The interior has drill holes and there are plastic sections for 'cassettes' stacking
