The ref. 1004 Superocean was Breitling’s first-ever dive watch and one of the most scarce Breitling references ever. The 1004 featured a highly irregular design with a highly domed acrylic crystal and concave bezel, elongated dagger indices,  and 38mm very thin case. It is lesser known and seen than its contemporary peers: the Submariner, Fifty Fathoms, Deeps Sea, etc., but took its rightful place amongst those early forerunners. It is thought that fewer than 20 examples survive today.

Some small surface marks and scratches to the case. Some fading to the lume on the dial and hands (tropical). Some slight nicks and scratches to the bracelet. The crown on the watch is missing. The watch is not running and would benefit from a service and restoration.
