Bidding ended. Lot has been sold.

This lot is in good country house condition with good patination.

The internal hinges are later and there is evidence of later reinforcement with batons to secure the age cracks of the timbers to the sides and at the top/lid.

This does not detract from the aesthetics or stability of the piece.

There are general nicks, chips and knocks commensurate with age.
