circa 1740, the folding rectangular top opening on two lopers, over four graduated drawers, on shaped bracket feet, 76cm high x 69.5cm wide x 36cm deep

This lot is in good country house condition with fine patination.

There is a missing knob to the side rests.

The inside of the drawers have had paper glued inside. 

There are chips, cracks and scratches particularly to the extremities commensurate with age.

There are old splits to timbers inherent to the wood and also due to ageing.

Where the top joins the bottom there is a missing section of wood to one side (on the corner) which will need attention. One foot has missing veneers to one side.

There is warping of wood due to age on the top half, evident from the shelf angle.

One handle is missing off one of the five drawers. The cup hooks are missing.
