Bidding ended. Lot has been sold.

This lot is in good country house condition.

There has been some staining of mahogany to imitate a higher older quality mahogany expected from the Georgian period with speckles of 'paint' which are too regular and 'antiqued'. It can be stated that the piece is stable and aesthetically pleasing.

The seat is feather, the seat has coils and the rest may possibly be foam. There is no horsehair.

Upside down there is modern hessian backing and we are unable to specify age exactly.
