Note: Kitty Church was an English painter associated with The London Group. She exhibited regularly at the Royal Academy, NEAC and the Lefevre Gallery. She was friends with Ivon Hitchens, John Piper and Julian Trevelyan and Hitchen’s portrait of her is held in the Tate Museum. An accomplished painter in her own right her works are full of dynamic colour and life.
