probably Han dynasty, with moulded edges and a dense pattern of bosses raised in relief, 4.6cm diameter, in a fitted wooden box Provenance: An English private collection. Acquired in Tokyo in the 1990's by the grandfather of the present owner, and thence by descent.
Largely in good condition. Wear throughout commensurate with age. Fritting/very small chips to the edges. No obvious damages or restoration.
