Bidding ended. Lot has been sold.

This lot has good patination and all chairs are stable and strong without being rickety.

All rush seats are in good working order and strong without need for repair. They will need to be brushed to remove the surface mould which is only superficial.

The furniture is stained on the surface from being stored somewhere damp. Again it is most likely this can be removed by brushing with the likes of an iron brush, this includes the table.

They are all sunbleached and worn from use commensurate with age and purpose with chips and knocks.

The only apparent old worming appears to be on the area of the feet where some been replaced or reduced slightly. However all appear to be around the same height and do not jar the eye with height differences.

One chair has had replacement feet and part of the leg but this is old and only apparent on close scrutiny

The table has splits to the timber (natural) including on the balusters ends.

It would appear to have some age and is probably late 19th century.

This does not affect the stability or aesthetics.

The two far ends to the top have cracks to the timbers.

One end of the table has been repaired beneath.

There are chips, scratches commensurate with age.
