The brooch is in overall good condition with no signs of damage or heavy wear. The rubies are all in god condition with no signs of chips or abrasions. All exhibit a vibrant pinkish red hue. Some with silky inclusions, typical of Mogok Burmese rubies. Some have some light abrasions to the top facet edges. The diamonds are all in good condition with no signs of chips or abrasions. Estimated to range from G-I colour and VS-Si2 clarity. The piece has evidence to suggest it may have been a part of a double clip brooch at some point and has been converted. Some solder marks visible to the joints of the pin clasp.
