Translation: 'To our little English friend, Shirley Tory in memory of the Berlin Sports Palace 1-4 April 1938'

Shirley Tory was an champion amateur figure skater in the 1930s.

The Berlin Sportpalast was constructed in 1910 and demolished in 1973. It was the biggest meeting hall in Berlin at the time of construction and is most known for an assassination attempt on Adolf Hitler in 1937 and for speeches and rallies by the National Socialists, including Goebbel's Total War speech in 1945.
