1871 pattern, the diamond-cut frontal plate inscribed 'The Princess Royal's Dragoon Guards' around the 'VR' cypher, the helmet applied with laurel branches and rose pattern chin chain supporters, with a black over white horse hair plume, 40cm high, in an associated perspex case, 56.5cm high x 30.5cm square

The item is in good overall condition, there are small surface marks and scratches throughout due to its age and use. The interior lining has considerable wear, although the leather interior appears to be in good condition.
