Bidding ended. Lot has been sold.

The bookcase is in excellent condition: the most notable defect is the loss of ivory detailing to the frieze, there is also a loss of moulding on both the right and left hand side - where the top and bottom sections meet. A second smaller section of moulding to the right hand side has come slightly loose. A very small section of veneer to the top frieze is missing. The rest of the cabinet is in very good order.

We believe the cabinet to be a  late 19th or early 20th century construction.
