Signs of old worm throughout. A dark staining apparent to all chairs, especially to the back panels. Some splits and old repairs evident. A few minor chips to the edges and surface wear commensurate with age and use. Largely the structure is ok, with some movement to the backs, one is particularly wobbly. Some wear and cracking to the crests.
We believe the chairs to be 18th or perhaps early 19th century.
