The painting of the gentleman is in better condition than that of the lady. He has two small areas of surface loss. Signs of revarnishing and overpainting present under uv light. Some small surface marks, visible stretcher lines, slight discolouration across the bottom boarder. 

 

The lady has several punctures to the canvas, small areas of lost paint. apparent overpainting and repairs visible under uv light.
