19th century, the shaped lid with a white metal engraved cartouche opening to reveal an interior fitted with two lidded compartments, terminating on four copper bun feet, 15cm high x 18cm wide x 12cm deep
Elements of the metal stringing are lost/damaged. A few small chips and losses present, notabley to the corners of the lid. Some small veneer cracks. Light surface wear throughout.
