AN OAK LONGCASE CLOCK BY ROBERT JONES OF CHESTER

18th century, the eight day movement striking on a bell, the brass dial with moonphase and engraved chapter ring, in a case with painted frieze to the hood, approx. 220cm high x 59cm wide x 27cm deep

There are extensive damages to the case, some elements are loose but present, including the front panel, others are missing. Small chips and losses to the veneer as well as surface marks and scratching commensurate with age and use. The glass is cracked at the top near the hood. Some alterations to the case suggets that the case and movement are associated. Some slight marks and tarnishing to the face. 

We do not guarantee clocks to be in working order.
