A handsome chest with good colour having had a number of repairs and alterations. The handles and escutcheons are replaced. It is most likely the feet are also later alterations. The surface is worn and there are areas of scratching, water marks and veneer loss/restoration. Some dryness, splits and cracking. Evidence of old worm. Structurally solid.
