The chairs are in very good condition. There is some splitting and bubbling to the veneer, as on would expect with age. The bubbling is located in a small area at the back of the chair. Both back rests show signs of historic repair to the veneer. Some expected surface wear throughout, in particular to the lowest portion of the legs.
